Join the Basye-Orkney Springs Community Library for a sustainable, cost effective way of making your Halloween spooktacular!

Donate your unwanted costumes or exchange them for something new to you. Drop off your unwanted costumes and accessories to the Basye-Orkney Springs Community Library beginning 9/18.  Accepting costumes for all ages and sizes - even for pets. All items should be in good, clean condition. Please no opened face paints for sanitary reasons. Items remaining after the event will be donated.

Get a ticket for every costume dropped off before 10/10. Ticket holders get first access on swap day and a chance to win tickets to Fright Night!

Costume swap will take place on October 10th at 10am.

Visit the Basye-Orkney Springs Community Library on the first and third Tuesday of every month for Quiet Reads: A Bring Your Own Book Club!

This one is for the grown ups. No pressure, no homework, just read what YOU want! Bring your own book and join us for an hour of quiet reading and an hour of socializing and relaxed discussion!

Recommended for ages 18+.

Interested in having computer problems diagnosed or in learning how to use your devices more effectively?  Stop by the Basye-Orkney Springs Community Library on any Monday from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm, starting September 9, 2024.
